Title | Hedera Experiment |
Year | 2002 |
Location | Swiss Cottage, London |
Brief | Conflict and negotiation as spatial practice |
Notes | See “Hedera” project |
This spatial intervention on conflict and negotiation involved a series of self-lit wax and amber pods encasing local artefacts. These were attached to the border fences of a controversial construction site in London that was involved in a court-case with the local community. The sensitivity of the location meant that even though no political symbolism or wording was used, site security forced us to take down the installation after a few hours.
